Whether a gift for a gardener or bird fancier, encouraging birds into the garden is very rewarding.
The dish itself was thrown on my wheel using a stoneware clay. A lovely speckled, minty glaze adds an interesting quality that catches the light outside beautifully.
Elevated upon a stocky tree stump the dish offers birds a place to drink and bathe whilst adding a pleasing feature to any garden.
Equally this dish would also make a splendid serving platter.
