Full description
This pretty little pendant is entirely handmade from copper wire. I've formed a length of thicker wire into a drop shape with a central spiral & then hammered it flat. The 4mm faceted glass beads have been added with fine copper wire around the inside of the frame to meet the spiral. The other side has been finished with a staggered ladder weave, which I think creates a really lovely striped effect. The beads are a stunning shade of blue called Capri Blue - named for the Blue Grotto on the island of Capri - it looks simply gorgeous with copper.
The finished pendant has been oxidised to antique the metal & then polished. It comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
The pendant itself measures just under 4cm long from top of bail & just over 2.5cm across.
I will post your order out first class, in a 100% recycled (& reusable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
