Full description
This is Melody, a beautiful, hand made collectible doll in doll velour. She is fully jointed, has wild wacky hair and wears quality clothing and accessories, she took around 50 hours to make.
Melody is approx 55cm tall, a good size doll who would love to perch on a chair or sit by a fire
Melody has been made using quality fabrics, she is in a lovely soft pink doll velour fabric.
She is 5 way jointed with cotter pin fitments to her head, arms and legs and has button jointing to her knees and elbows making her a fully poseable doll.
Melody has hand painted eyes using acrylics and fabric paints which have been heat set and sealed.
She has delicate hand embroidery to one side of her face.
Melody wears a lovely Rose and Hubble cotton fabric dress in cream and china blue floral print, it has a fully lined bodice and long sleeves with blue contrast fabric hem. Her dress fastens to the back with velcro.
She has a lovely hand knitted bolero cardigan in blue DK yarn with a single button fastening and short sleeves.
Her pants are white cotton with tiny navy blue hearts.
She wears wool felt ankle boots in a charcoal blue/grey.
I have made Melody a little bag to carry her favourite bear. Her little bear was made from natural wool felt.
A mixture of hand dyed and hand spun thick n thin merino and Blue Faced Leicester yarn in blues was used for her hair.
A lovely shy little girl Melody and her little bear are looking for someone to give them a home.
