Ahh.... where do I start. Grew up in Cape Town, surrounded by the sea. I love anything and everything to do with the ocean.

Full description

This listing is for one small wall hanging fish as pictured.

This fish is roughly 15cm in length and it has a 2mm hole for mounting on the wall.

I have more orange and red fish listed in my shop. If you would like more than one you can choose from the listings for no extra postage (up to six) or ask me to make more in your colour choice. See last image for examples. I can do them in blues, greens, aqua, purple, reds and orange. Each fish is hand made by myself using my signature design, each fish will vary in shape and arrangement of my design.

If you would like to hang it on the wall you will need a picture pin nail. The nail must be less than 2mm wide, it is a very simple process, much like hanging a picture on the wall. I will supply hanging instructions.

These fish would look beautiful hung up against a white wall, hung in the window or suspended from the ceiling in the corner of a well lit room. They are sunlight and water resistant, perfect for the window, conservatory, bathroom or even outside in a wind sheltered position.

Kiln forming is a process where glass sheets are cut into the required shape, layered and then heated in a kiln to a temperature where the glass melts and the layers fuse together. I use glass sheet and glass powder to make my fish. They have been digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety in my garden studio in Bristol.
