I wanted to give more variety when it comes to dolls and ornaments, everything that I see on the High Street or online is blonde with light skin, and I wanted young girls to feel represented and to have a decoration that reflects them and their culture.
This ballerina would be perfect for a Christmas tree decoration, or hung up on a young child's bedroom wall, especially for one obsessed with ballet!

"Dance like no-one's watching"
This little ballerina measures around 6 inches tall, with orange hair styled into a ballerina bun, topped with a pink and silver crown and a sparkly pink paper flower hairpiece. She has a friendly hand-drawn face, and an emerald green cardigan and matching ballet shoes, made from DMC Mouliné Etoile embroidery thread to give her a bit of sparkle! Her ballet tutu is made from white and pink artificial flowers.
She can be hung up using the green cord at the top of her head, so she would be perfect for the Christmas tree, or hanging on a bedroom wall. The cord can be easily removed, so she would also be able to bend to sit on a flat surface.
Please note, this product is designed to be used as a decoration, it is not a toy.
