Growing up I loved fairytales and Disney princesses and Barbie and Britney but couldnt understand why even when i tried my hardest I couldnt look anything like them. Decided to start a series of artwork depicting some of my favourite characters with an extra dash of melanin to make them a little bit more relatable to little girls like me. I also have a keen interest in fashion, which is why I like to play with bright colours and clash garish patterns.
