Full description
This a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I make this sailboat in different colours of hull. Blue, red, green, blue-green.
It is a gorgeous little boat with a bright coloured hull. It has a little differently coloured flag and a matching cabin which has clear glass windows, a bright turquoise sail which includes some very shiny iridescent glass and a white sail which is decorated with 3 little beads, as flags, in bright colours to match the boat.
It's 11cm high by 9cm wide.
This would make a wonderful present for anyone, and especially for someone who likes boats and sailing. I can guarantee they won’t have one like this as it is designed and entirely handmade by me.
It looks absolutely lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light.
This item is totally individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
Please note that I do only have one of each colour.
As these sell quite quickly it is possible that the one I send you may not be the actual one pictured in that colour but I promise it will be just as well made and lovely. If you have a colour preference please add a note when ordering.
