Handmade in Cornwall using environmentally sound materials.
Ocean wildlife gets caught in old fishing gear.
We get it off the beach where we can and do something useful with it.

Full description
Our funky little mat made from rope we find on the beaches of the Lands End Penninsular comes in whatever colours we have at the time...At the moment its predominately green as thats what rope we have, each one is totaly unique and is so versitile. It can be kept in the car and used to stand on when your changing your boots when you walk the dog...getting changed after a surf/paddleboard/kite surf/ kayak...or it can just as happily be used in the home as a bath mat...some people even use them as a centre peice on their table. They measure approx 16" across and each mat made means that 15 meters of rope is no longer able to damage wildlife and our ocean life by becoming either tangled up in it or as it breaks down into micro plastics. Variations will apply. Each mat comes with a label telling you which beach in West Penwith Cornwall the rope was saved from
