I have hand crocheted this beautiful baby blanket and matching hat from soft acrylic and metallic mix yarns.
There is a beautiful metallic running through the pale lilac lavender yarn making it gorgeously sparkly. This is a very pretty, soft and warm blanket and hat set for the autumn and winter months.
The blanket measures approximately 62cm square, and the hat is designed to fit from 0 - 6 months old with a matching hand crocheted flower sewn onto the side of it. The flower can be worn on the left or the right side of the baby's head. If the hat is a little big for your precious one right now, you can roll the brim up and tuck it under the flower to make it smaller and then unroll it as your baby grows.
There are no buttons, so no choking hazards.
This is a great set for a special little baby and will turn into a wonderful heirloom keepsake to keep in your family for generations to come. It is suitable for use in a moses basket, pram, car seat, for laying on the floor or curling up on the sofa for those precious cuddles and moments. The options to use it are endless.
Would make a perfect baby shower gift, baby birth gift etc.
I recommend hand washing the set in tepid water and reshaping whilst damp. Lay flat to dry. It can also be drycleaned using the P setting.
