The decorating style I return to time and again is modern country: clean lines, simple shapes and crisp colours - of the moment but also comfortingly nostalgic. Stripes and checks and ginghams complement each other so well and this bright red reminds me of robins, British postboxes and love.

Full description
Cute as a button dinky hearts in red and white stripes, checks and gingham. Handmade in my Hampshire garden studio, the three hearts are filled with locally grown fragrant lavender (or with toy-grade stuffing, if you prefer) and are finished with a natural hemp twine hanging loop and a linen 'h&h' label.
The epitome of country cottage style, these little hearts look adorable hanging from hooks on a kitchen dresser or a cupboard doorknob. They are also the perfect finishing touch on a beautifully wrapped present. And they make a particularly special gift in their own right - perhaps for a housewarming or as a festive stocking filler.
