Having never made a Mala necklace before, I was intrigued about the story behind them. This one and the others I have made (one already sold) were a pleasure to work on.
The meditation Mala is used by Buddhist's and Buddhist monks much like a Rosary is used in the Catholic Religion.
I found the whole process of knotting the beads extremely calming. I made 4 Malas, one after the other and felt totally chilled out after finishing.
The tassels were made a couple of days later. These Mala's looked totally awesome once finished.
