Welcome to my Folksy shop.
All the items in my shop are handmade by me using 100% recycled sterling silver and genuine semi precious gemstones.
If you see a design you like but would prefer a different gemstone, I can make to order.

Full description
Part of the Circles collection, these carnelian earrings consist of an 8 mm carnelian gemstone bead encased in a 10 mm sterling silver circle. Smaller sterling silver rings connect this to a 6 mm sterling silver circle, which then hangs from the handmade sterling silver ear wire.
The drop length from the ear wire is approximately 25 mm.
Carnelian is a deep burnt orange colour with flecks of white.
Symbolically, the circle represents protection, regeneration, continuity and flow.
Carnelian resonates most strongly with the sacral chakra. It is said to have a warm, grounding energy to it. It is said to help with creativity and has connections to the goddess Brigid, who is the ancient goddess of blacksmiths and silversmiths.
The earrings come on card explaining the properties, wrapped in tissue paper in a pillow box and are sent by 1st class royal mail postage.
