Full description
Absolutely perfect for a special occasion, this is a luxurious bag made from rich dark red toned chenille tapestry upholstery fabric and is lined with a complementary rich red-russet shot silk lining. It opens to a width of 13cm x 18cm by means of a metal, hinged frame - Mary Poppins style!
Inside is a slip pockets for suitable for phone and pens, for example and there is also a zipped pocket.
On the outside of the bag is a matching silk tie - it also comes with a removable flower brooch, again, made using the same silk fabric of the lining and shown in the final photo.
The base of the bag is stiffened and has metal feet to help protect from wear and tear.
The grab handles are 39cm long and are made from tapestry fabric with a contrasting , beige cotton webbing and have been given structure with strong cord inside.
When closed, the body of this bag is 24.5cm in height. The base is 23cm wide by 12cm in depth.
The design of the bag means that the main body is flexible up to a maximum width of 35cm.
