Full description

These lovely studs are made from fine silver stars with sterling silver posts and scrolls,

They are cast from small star-shaped fossils, the stem of a crinoid (sea-lily).

Crinoids are commonly known as sea lilies due to their "flower-like" appearance, though they are animals, not plants, like starfish and urchins.

Today, approximately 600 living species are known, first appearing in the sea 300 million years before dinosaurs!

These star stones were believed to bring luck and victory over enemies to anyone who wore them.

they can come bright silver, or given a patina to make them darker and highlight their texture.

Will come gift boxed via signed for royal mail
