When I was very young, I used to own a little toy buggy to transport my dolly around the garden. Even from the time before I could read, I was drawn to books and words. I loved the feel of them, the smell of them and so, wanted to design a product that would combine the two - something nostalgic as books enable you to 'lose' yourself in different imaginary worlds both in the past, the present day and the future, but also, there was a desire to develop a product to help keep a bookmark in place when carrying it. Often, I find paper ones slip out - and even corner ones don't tend to be secure enough, and so, this was the perfect solution!
