This smudging fan is made with Roe Deer Antler for the handle.

A smudging ceremony is a cleansing ritual burning sacred plant resins and herbs in a shell or a clay bowl while directing the smoke with the ceremonial fan.
Prayers and intentions are offered for the purpose that is intended – this can be to clear away anxieties, sadness, impurities, dark thoughts or unwanted energies that may have attached themselves to a space or an individual.
It is important that a clear focus on the intention of the ritual is established before commencing. It is better to have one clear purpose than many vague ones.
This Fan has a Pentagram symbol on the back of the handle.
