It's hard to pinpoint inspiration. I would have to put it down to depicting my love of all animals especially wildlife. Foxes have such a fascination for me, they are wily, cautious and wise and i hope to capture that here in a close up. I love watching them roaming across the fields where i live.

Full description
FXPM150 - Foxy Mandala - 20cm round Fox design plus stitched, mixed yarn hanging loop, edging and a handmade painted, rolled paper bead. Stitched in black thread free motion/machine embroidery on cotton and painted with diluted fabric paint on a burnt orange gold background. Stiffened to keep it's shape. Plain black on reverse. Light fast up to a point but I wouldn't advise hanging in direct or bright sunlit areas. (full view in second picture).
