I love walking through the woods, but my photos never do the scene justice. When a friend shared a photograph of her winter walk, it inspired me to create the scene form lino. The only thing missing was the deer that I see in my local forest. If you look closely though, it may be that they passed through earlier.

Full description
This is an original Lino cut made from 3 different colours on 3 different lino plates. It shows a walk through a snow covered avenue of trees, but has someone or something already passed by ?
It is an original design from a drawing I made, based on a friend's photograph , with permission, I have included a photo of the various drafts I went through to decide how it should look. Once I have made my preparatory sketch , I will go over it with layout paper, making alterations and trying colour variations.
The image size is 7.5cm x 8.5cm and comes with a 14.5cm x 14.5cm (6" x 6") mount so that you can easily find a frame to suit your own decor.
I have included an example in the photographs of limed ash. (not included in listing)
