Please note any orders for Christmas 2024 need to be placed no later than Friday 13th December, for delivery in time for Christmas. I will be taking a break after then, and any orders placed after December 13th will be processed after January 2nd 2025.

The original of "Acarsaid" was a painting done on a roof slate! I started painting on pebbles and slates a few years ago, and love the texture you can achieve. They also make a great medium for sunsets, as somehow the golds and coppers really stand out. This was the first boat I ever painted, and is based on a sunset from Shieldaig in Wester Ross (close to where I live). "Acarsaid" is Gaelic for anchorage/harbour, and there are nearly always sailing boats moored in Shieldaig. This mug design was one of my first, and still one of my favourites.
