Item details

A lightweight canvas bucket shape tote bag with shoulder strap. The fabric has an anchor design in blues, red, yellow, and browns on a white ground. The bottom is reinforced with a plain mid-blue fabric and the shoulder strap is off-white canvas. It is fully lined in light blue and white cotton and has a zippered pocket and a small carabiner clip to attach keys. The front flap fastens with two press studs and is decorated with toggles that match the bag colours. A fun and practical bag for Summer that is washable at 30C.

My inspiration for craft work always begins with the materials I plan to use - fabric, yarn, beads. The colourful anchor design on this fabric lent itself to a beach / coast / Summer theme and that in turn led to the idea of a bucket bag decorated with toggles.
