I generally use an outreach Royal mail postal service at the moment which is available on a Wednesday and Friday. Items to Europe, USA and the Rest of the World are sent Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL STANDARD which does not include tracking in the cost.
The Blue Tit is such a familiar figure. We had two nest boxes with them in this year and I was quite nervous when they fledged and the garden had lots of helpless nervous little ones hopping around on the grass. I kept a vigil all day. For this embroidery I chose a particularly plump Blue tit, using the direction of machine stitches to create solidity. The background collage is made up of little patterned scraps of flowers and leaves which I stitched into.
