I generally use an outreach Royal mail postal service at the moment which is available on a Wednesday and Friday. Items to Europe, USA and the Rest of the World are sent Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL STANDARD which does not include tracking in the cost.
I hear the tap tapping of these Woodpeckers in the woods near my home and occasionally spot one in the garden. I spent some time observing a nest in an old tree recently and was very surprised at how incredibly noisy the chicks were - even when I was quite a distance away. Striking looking birds for embroidery, enhanced in this case I hope by a subtle gold collage background with drifting autumn leaves.
