I generally use an outreach Royal mail postal service at the moment which is available on a Wednesday and Friday. Items to Europe, USA and the Rest of the World are sent Royal Mail INTERNATIONAL STANDARD which does not include tracking in the cost.
I can remember large groups of bossy Starlings in the garden when I was young, but now of course they are on the RSPB red list as endangered. As a flock in murmuration there are few sights that are so impressive. Individually they are visually striking with the purple green iridescence of their feathers. For the original piece the embroidery was set on a background of painted and stitched silk with appliqued leaves and highlighted with the addition of a tiny amount of oil pastel.

A detailed print of my original embroidery collage of this once ubiquitous bird. Printed on textured fresco soft white card which brings out the raised quality and texture of the original image. Mounted with acid free off-white mount card.
