I was first drawn to birds in my childhood years growing up in Africa and I still love to watch them all around me here in the Uk in my garden and in the wild.
For me birds evoke a feeling of innocence lost, tranquility and most importantly humour. I try to recreate these feelings in my work, be it a wearable object or something decorative.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
This purchase is for a made to order fused glass bird with an all over lace design, suspended from an invisible thread. You can choose between the three colours which you can select from the red 'Choose Options tab'.
This bird would look beautiful hung in your window, suspended from the ceiling in the corner of a room or even up against a wall.
The colours will not fade in the sunlight and it is water resistent, making it perfect for all areas within the home i.e. conservatory, bathroom etc.
My birds are made in a specialised glass kiln where layers of glass are heated together to a temperature where the glass melts and fuses together. The design on my birds are fused in the glass and not painted on the surface.
All my glass work is digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety in my home studio in Bristol. I now run workshops from my home studio. Please see my listings in my shop for more details.
Where possible I use recycled packaging. I dream of a plastic free world one day!
