The final part of the design process is to produce a 'sample' in proper fabric (earlier I will have made a calico toile/mock up). I made several pottery apron design samples, and selected two to go into the range. Although this design didn't make the final selection, it was handmade with the same care and attention to detail as every apron I make.

I design and make aprons in my studio in hilly-leafy SE London - each one handmade with meticulous attention to detail and finish, carefully measured, pressed and stitched, and all the thread ends sewn in.
SIZE: approx UK 10-18. 95 cm bib top to hem, 26 cm across bib top, 93 cm apron skirt width. (Model size UK10, 5'7"/170cm)
CARE: Machine washable 30 degrees or handwash, slow spin. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron
POSTAGE: Royal Mail 1st Class 'Signed For' (requires signature on delivery).
Gift wrapped & boxed. Paper/card packaging from sustainable forest 100% recyclable. Paper parcel tape with plant based adhesive. Twine and parcel tape 100% biodegradable.
