This broken character pulled at my heart strings, I wanted to repair, recreate and share her.

Full description
Handmade Doll Face Brooch - Bell Girl Judy is a handmade replica of a real broken antique doll head from my collection. The original head was dirty and unloved, having been discarded and buried as rubbish almost a hundred years ago. She was so cute, and cheeky that I had to give her a new life!
Judy Bell Girl is carefully hand-painted with acrylic paint and soft pastels, several coats of ceramic sealer have been applied to protect the painted finish. She has hand painted green eyes, and auburn hair. Judy has a cerise pink bell girl hat, and painted hair bow, completing her quirky vintage look.
There is a 15mm rollover safety pin at the back, which has been securely attached with epoxy glue.
Due to the nature of handmade items no two are exactly the same, making each brooch an individual.
Judy wouldn't like to go swimming, and should be protected from heavy showers of rain.
Judy will come to you on a gift card, as shown. This listing is for the exact brooch as shown in the first four photos only.
