To create a Poppy Heart I draw into a glue board and use carborundum so colour will brought out in the poppy flower. Once the board is drawn into, using texture and a sense of sculpture and has dried then colours are painted spontaneously like a child's freedom with colours. Each Poppy is different, so it feels like nature

Full description
This Poppy Heart brings the delicate feeling of wild flowers and summer air together with fresh and inspiring colours. It is a collagraph and so by using collage to print make this piece of art gives you the texture and a feeling of being in a meadow. Dreamy, colourful art that floats and zings. Butterfly days and scrummy colour for your wall. I create a Poppy heart to give a kaleidescope of colour so you have an original edition which brings that summer sky feeling.
