Full description
It always amazes me how many colours there are in even a 'plain grey' piece of 'Harris Tweed' - this piece could be described as silver grey, but, when you look closely, it contains shades from nearly white through to charcoal. Handwoven on the Isle of Lewis it carries the 'Harris Tweed' Orb Mark label.
I decided this particular piece would make a lovely cover for a writer's notebook, so the lining is cream cotton printed with inspirational and thought provoking quotes about writing from famous authors including Wordsworth, Twain and Voltaire.
To continue the writing theme I've used freestyle machine embroidery to create a delicate, purple feather quill on the front and incorporated a purple ribbon place marker so you'll always know just where you left off writing.
The cover comes complete with either an A6 lined notebook or a 2020 Week to View diary so is ready to use, or give.
