A natural spotted beach pebble, in a silver bezel setting. The necklace comes complete with a chunky silver belcher chain and fastens with a handmade silver clasp. It carries a full UK hallmark.

This sterling silver pendant features a striking spotted pebble that I found on a beach at Druridge Bay, Northumberland. I have hand made a silver bezel setting to hold the stone, and the back of the setting has been pierced out to show its rear. The sides are just turned over the pebble, to keep it in place. It's a bold, chunky pendant, perfect to wear on a long chain. It evokes the beach and ocean.

This pebble is completely unique, so you can be sure that your necklace is a genuine one-off design. The pebble is a rough oval shape. It is grey in colour, with a striking pattern of paler grey or white spots.

The pendant is approx. 2.2cm high by 1.9cm wide. It hangs from a chunky silver belcher chain, which is 51cm long. The handmade clasp will go through the links of the chain, so you can actually fasten it anywhere along its length if want to wear it shorter.

This item has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, which is your guarantee that it has been made from genuine sterling silver.

Your necklace will arrive in a gift box made from recycled card, and tied with a ribbon.

The pebble is exactly as I found it on the beach - I have not cut, smoothed or polished it. I have given it a thin coat of matte varnish, to enhance and protect its surface.

The stone has not been glued into the setting, and is held in place by the silver bezel. Due to the nature of this style of setting, there may be fractional movement within the silver mount, but please be assured that it is secure.
