I take the inspiration for my mushroom and toadstool range from nature, the variety of forms and colours of mushrooms and toadstools give me plenty of ideas. I love to use colours that are bright and vibrant to make the mushrooms stand out in the garden setting.

These three unique, colourful red mushrooms (or toadstools!) would be an eye-catching feature in your flower beds or in a pot in your garden; if you can bear to give them way, they would make a lovely gift! They would be a really great present for someone moving into a new home with a garden, or for a couple celebrating their 20th anniversary, which traditionally is marked by giving china or pottery.
The mushrooms are hand-made by me in Wales. They are made from strong stoneware clay, glazed and kiln fired to a high temperature, which means that the mushrooms are completely weather-proof, come rain or shine, so can be left out in the garden all year round.
The mushroom caps measure 8cm across the base and are 8cm tall; the stalks are 26cm long; the caps are decorated with shiny, bright red colour with raised white spots all over the surface ; the stalks are glazed in a rich brown colour.
