This lambswool / cashmere sweater in various blue, grey and white stripes inspired me to create the sea from my childhood, memories of the lighthouse, sailboats and dolphins splashing in the waves.

Little boy's felted jacket in blue / grey stripes with a needlefelted sea design of lighthouse, sailing boat and dolphins.
This jacket is made from a repurposed lambswool and cashmere sweater that has been felted in a hot wash and upcycled into this one of a kind little boys lightweight jacket. The fabric is soft and thin so is suitable for cooler summer days by the seaside. I have carefully and neatly buttonholed stitched around all the edges using a light grey silk thread. The jacket fastens with two shiny grey buttons.
I have needle felted a sea scene onto the fronts and back, using various wools. The fronts have a red and white lighthouse standing on a rock, and a sailing boat on the sea. There is a group of dolphins swimming and leaping from the waves around the lower edge, and centre back.
This jacket should fit an average age 5 - 6 year old boy, but as all children vary in size, please check my the actual measurements below.

chest 27" / 68cm
total length from lower edge to back shoulder 19.5" / 49cm
length from lower edge to under arm 12.5" / 31cm
sleeve length from cuff to lower arm 12.5" / 31cm
Gently handwash in cool water, squeeze out excess, and lay flat to dry. Warm iron over a damp cloth..
This item cannot be machine washed or tumble dried.
