Full description
This pretty delicate looking necklace has been designed and hand crafted using tanzanite nuggets with dark blue/silver borogue culture pearls. Between the pearls are 2mm sterling silver spacer beads adding a touch of sparkle. To create the necklace flexible professional stainless steel jewellers wire has been used for strength and lasting durability, finished off with a 925 sterling silver bolt ring clasp. D ring and crimp covers.
All tanzanite mines have now closed with strict export conditions set by the Tanzanian government, leading to high prices in all cuts and grades within the trade worldwide. It is valued on its colour. This necklace has a strong voilet blue colour.
The necklace finished length is 19"inches. It will make an ideal practical gift for ladies whom aspire to owning tanzanite on a budget. Tanzanite is only located at the foothills of Mount Kilamagiro in Tanzania. As only a few mines are now still operating this beautiful gemstone is gaining in value at an alarming rate worldwide.
I made three of these necklaces, two have been sold through a boutique jewellers in Cornwall. Once my tanzanite gemstone stock has depleted I will no longer be able to replace due to high costs and poor quality available.
The necklace is ready to be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail Signed For service. It will come presented wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside a organza gift pouch.
