This beautiful stylish ring was formed from round silver wire. The outer surface has been textured to resemble the bark of a silver birch tree.
It's simple and unfussy, and a perfect design for anyone who loves natural, organic jewellery. It would also be a beautiful and unusual gift for a 5th (wood) wedding anniversary.
The outer surface has been textured with the edge of a file, whilst the inner surface has been polished, so that it feels smooth against the skin. It was oxidised lightly to a light slate grey colour, then rubbed back, so that the colour remains within the indentations, whilst the raised areas are bright silver. This really emphasises the texture of the ring, and makes it look very much like a thin section cut through the trunk of a slender tree.
The ring is formed from 3mm silver wire, so it's a solid piece of jewellery, which would suit either a man or a woman.

Your ring will arrive in a gift box made from recycled card, and tied with a ribbon
This ring was inspired by the boldly marked trunks of birch trees. The birch, known as the goddess tree or lady of the woods, is one of the first trees to come into leaf in the spring. It is associated with protection, renewal and new beginnings, and with the zodiac sign capricorn.
