This little wren has been needle felted with subtle colour variations to mirror the colours on her feathers. I have then hand stitched the details and patterns on her feathers using embroidery stitches over the top of the felting. She is standing on a branch that is springing with blossom. The blossoms have been needle felted in pale pink wool and embroidered over with white lazy daisy petals and yellow french knot centres. The branches have been embroidered on with a back stitch.

This wren textile art piece has been embroidered onto a light grey wool felt and backed onto a thick piece of wool felt in my signature style to add stability and sturdiness to the finished brooch.

This pretty brooch would look great pinned to a lapel, bag or even a hat to brighten any outfit. My brooches come pinned to a decorative card ready for gifting to a bird lover or nature lover or maybe a sweet little treat for yourself. All of my brooches are unique as the hand stitching makes them one of kind by nature.
