Full description

This necklace is an excellent gift for someone who spends time in nature, and likes to make fires!

The necklace is not only attractive to wear but also functional in the outdoors. The bushcraft necklace (ceramic version) incorprates a small fero rod and a small ceramic striking tool, so it is possible to make a very hot spark to ignite dry fibres/wood/cotton quickly, and therefore make fire when out in the woods, on the trail, or at home.

Not only that, but...

The cord is made from 100% nettle cord,

the beads are made from soap nut pods.

The product is completely plastic free!

which means you're buying a product more suited with the places you're likely to use it.

Please see other listings for different styles, or contact us for requests.

I source the strikers and fero rods from european companies where possible, and the natural cordage and beads from a local business (south uk).

The fastener is a natural bead, I can use a wooden toggle or tied cords (see other listings) for the fastener - please message if preferred.

Please see videos on internet for how to use a fero rod and strikker to make fire. Its simple, but the rod needs to be scraped with the striker in the right way to make hot sparks.

We use 100% recycled and/or recylable packaging to deliver these products. FREE UK POSTAGE!
