The mini-maker aprons are zero-waste, made from fabric leftover from making the grown up size aprons, that's why they have a seam down the front.
This No7:1 design was my second ever cross back makers apron design, I used the same shape as the first cross back apron but this time added adjustable straps made of herringbone webbing which knot through loops at the back corners of the apron. This beautiful golden denim and red webbing is such a striking combination on this design.
Working in my studio in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches using cotton canvas, denim or drill - fabrics that are natural, washable and durable. Careful attention to detail, strength of construction and beautiful stitching result in a quality of finish simply not possible in mass production. I cut fabric economically, minimising waste and saving the small remnants to make one-of-a-kind bags for my ‘Boro Collection’.

ARCHIVE DESIGN JUST 2 LEFT! Handmade cross back apron for mini-makers, made in golden ochre denim with red herringbone tape tie straps. A comfortable and adjustable apron made for creative kids, that will grow with them. Suitable for art, craft, baking, gardening, pet care etc. Utmost attention is paid to detail, finish and strength of construction, it's made-to-last.

SIZE: approx age 3-6 years. 57cm bib top to hem, 18cm across bib top, 68cm apron skirt width.
FABRIC & CARE: 100% cotton. Soft 'cotton feel' acrylic herringbone tape. Machine washable 30C degrees, slow spin. Do not tumble dry.
