As an ex-teacher Givie was always interested in getting young people motivated to learn when they believed they couldn't and she discovered the power of throwing the T away in order to turn a can't to a can. It was from this teaching tool that the Can-do Brownie was born!
Write a big T on a piece of paper and put it in the pocket of the Brownie. No T - can't becomes can maybe with a bit of help but you can do it.

This handmade Brownie is from the Glasgow clan of "can-do" and is a helpful Scottish spirit who can help you or your child create a can do attitude.
The Brownie has been made from upcycled fabric, including denim and tights and also using scraps of wool to make the hair, legs and hat. The Brownie measures 23 cm tall and is approximately 40 cm in diameter
The machine embroidered T pocket is where you turn a "can't" into a "can". You simply scrunch up the T and place it into the pocket and this helps to build resilience and can encourage people to try.
Each Brownie comes with a poem explaining the can do attitude
