The Copper toggle has a flower pattern embossed into it which has been patinaed to bring out the details. After making the shape of the copper piece I cut a hole in to be able to fasten the hand forged toggle clasp into it.
The flat oval Green Jasper beads are fastened together with copper links.
I have put complementary colourd seed beads with it to give a layered look to the bracelet.
The main Copper part measures approx 3 cm high x 4.5 cm wide. The bracelet measures 7" in length.
Green Jasper is said to stimulate the heart chakra.

I had a sheet of Copper and thought it would go well with the colour of the Green Jasper. I wanted to make a larger toggle clasp that would be easier to fasten because of the weight of the main copper piece. The green lead me to think of nature and flowers and so I impressed a flower pattern on to the copper before sawing the shape out and then ageing it to bring out the details of the pattern. I felt the toggle part should be simpler so fastened a clasp big enough not to slip out of the hole when worn and then hammered the edges to give it a better shape.
