I was lucky enough when I was a child to live near some secret wild woods, where many happy hours were spent exploring.
There was a tiny grassy meadow where some hares lived. I used to watch quietly, not knowing then how rare It was to see these secretive animals in the wild.

Hand embroidered textile brooch featuring a hare with an amber eye and golden whiskers - a little piece of wearable art.
This Hare was sewn by hand onto fabric pieces with embroidery thread and a tiny bit of gold thread. It has an edge of a rust coloured velvet ribbon for strength and a luxurious touch. There is a brooch pin with a safety catch stitched onto the reverse to keep it nice and secure. It is shown in natural light to give the best idea of the colours but remember that screens do vary. The brooch measures about 4cm x 5cm and will be sent in a small white organza bag.
A lovely gift, especially for a nature watcher or a hare-fancier!
