Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Shop, where you will find textile wall hangings, decorations and more...
This piece gets its name from the original inspiration for the colour palette, which was derived from the colours of peeling layers of paint seen on a wall.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
"Painted Wall Stripes" prodded technique textile wall hanging.
The technique used is 'prodding', which is a method traditionally used for making rugs. A mixture of re-purposed fabrics are transformed into a colourful, textured wall hanging.
The approximate measurements (measuring to the extremities) are:-
Height 26 & 1/2 inches (67 cm)
Width 20 & 3/4 inches (53 cm)
The piece comes with drilled wooden lathes on the reverse, which may be screwed to the wall for a permanent fixing, or (as shown in the photographs), a string may be tied to the holes to hang the piece from a hook. (Please note that screws/cord are not included - the drilled wooden slats are included). Photos were taken in either bright or dim light.
Care Guide: - the piece may be vacuumed with a hand attachment with net held over the mouth; or it can be shaken/beaten with a carpet beater outside. Spot clean any marks. Please note that some loose threads are to be found with this technique.
The colours seen in the above images may vary from device to device, but are hopefully close to those in the wall hanging. The piece may be hung with either of the short ends at the top. I have included a shot that shows a Christmas tree, cat and chair to give an idea of the size (props are not included!)
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
