Full description
Hand embroidered textile brooch featuring an emperor dragonfly with silver thread wings.
Wearable art that would enhance clothing, coat or hat.
This detailed study of a dragonfly resting on some reeds is stitched by hand onto fabric scraps with embroidery threads, then edged with dark green velvet ribbon to give it structure and a touch of luxury. The wings are stitched with silver thread which catches the light just like real dragonfly wings! There is a brooch back pin with a safety catch on the back to keep it secure. It measures just over 3cm x 5.5cm.
It's been photographed in natural light but remember that screens vary.
An ideal gift, especially for a nature watcher or a gardener.
