Full description

This is a stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

This is the same design as my sunflower pattern but as this is amber red rather than my usual sunflower yellow this version is better named Gerbera.

The flower is made from bright amber glass, 4different shades and textures. At the centre is a pretty nugget decorated with dichroic glass which was made by me in my fusing kiln.

This flower looks really lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light all year round.

It is 4.5 inches in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain securely attached at the top.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass and embellishments such as nuggets or beads in the middle.

The 5th photo shows my previous gerbera together with a sunflower . both now sold but I at time of listing have a sunflower for sale as a separate listing too.

My suncatchers make super presents and are also really good when hanging in french or conservatory windows to stop the birds flying into the glass.
