A statement double-sided necklace made with reproduction material from the Victoria and Albert museum 'Voysey' archives collection.
The front of the heart-shaped pendant uses a fabric printed with "The Lisston" design in red by Charles Voysey, the reverse uses a fabric printed with "The Gordon" comprising flowers and leaves, in an indigo and red colour, also designed by Voysey (reverse is shown in 2nd and 4th photos).
The material has been attached to embroidery foundation and then framed with red seed beads. The pendant hangs from a chain made with red and cream seed beads that have been woven using the kumihimo braiding technique.
The necklace fastens with a silver plated S clasp. The pendant measures 5.5 x 3.5cm (approx. 2in x 1.5in) The chain measures 45cm (approx. 18 inches) with a further 5cm (approx. 2 inches) extension chain.

Charles Voysey (1857–1941) was an English architect and furniture and textile designer, and one of the finest exponents of the Arts and Crafts style. Voysey designed fabrics, wallpapers, and furnishings in a simple Arts and Crafts style that is still hugely popular today.
The Owl print was designed by Voysey in 1897, whereas the Acton design dates from 1920.
