I've visited India for the last two years and most memorable of all the wonderful places we have seen is Udaipur. On the beautiful Pichola lake lined with white buildings and then the colour. The markets, shops, bazaars filled with vibrant colours and the ladies in their bright saris. A sunrise just finishes it off nicely.
PS the little footbridge bridge across the lake to the left is how we got from our super Lake Pichola Hotel on the island to the old city.
i twice I've set postage for First Class Signed for to allow for Royal Mail insurance limits.

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A design based on my memory of the view from Lake Pichola Hotel in Udaipur. I've had to make some adjustments to the actual scene to allow me to cut it in glass but I hope you will get the general idea.
In the foreground, our hotel with bougainvillea to either side. In front the lake, very picturesque and there's a little footbridge to get across from our island hotel to the old city proper.
The streets are filled with wonderful old buildings, white and soaring to get best views of the lake and everywhere there is colour from the shops, bazaars, fantastic handicraft as this is the craft centre of Rajistan and then the ladies, nearly all dressed in traditional saris and stunning colours.
Hope you get the idea.
I've added a sunrise I' m facing East but the sunset over the lake is equally stunning..
An oval design 18cm by 14.5cm and hanging from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.
It's framed in twisted wire for neatness and strength.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
