I love making these earrings. The copper lends itself so well to this shape and form, and the colour created by heating the metal creates beautiful shades naturally. The long thin slightly twisted shape of the leaf is inspired by the weeping willow leaves that cover the floor of a friends garden each Autumn. It has an elegance which makes these long earrings great for evening wear, although I wear a similar pair whatever the time of day!
