I had a collection of Batik cotton fabric and cut it into strips and played with a pattern to make up blocks, it went so well with white. I enjoyed hand quilting and playing with shapes it sort of evolved from there.

Full description
This quilt is very colourful, made up of Batik cotton fabric in a rainbow of colours and white tone on tone cotton fabric. In the white squares I have hand quilted hearts to make a flower shape. The border is peach cotton fabric and edged with different coloured prairie points.
It is backed with white cotton fabric with delecate tiny grey flowers on it.
The wadding is Hobbs 2oz polyester very light but warm.
