Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
I was admiring my pretty spring garden and decided I needed a new flower design.
So I made 3 little rainbow daisies then soldered them together to make a single suncatcher. A spray of daisies.
Each daisy has 7 different coloured petals,the colours of the rainbow. In the centre of each flower is a pretty dichroic glass nugget which I fused specially in my kiln. I've soldered the 3 individual flowers so they fit closely together.
This is approximately 18cms x 16cm and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
