Due to family commitments, Plum Porridge will be closed for the whole of December this year, which means that the last day I am able to accept orders in 2024 will be FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER.

If I find a piece of vintage embroidered linen that is past it's best, I salvage what I can from it and incorporate it into new items to be enjoyed every day.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Read the Folksy Returns Policy.

Full description

Use this little book to keep your needles neat and close at hand.

Part of the front cover is made using a piece of vintage embroidery. The rest of the cover is a pretty yellow cotton print from Laura Ashley, which I have also used for the lining.

I have printed the word "Needles" onto cotton fabric and appliquéd this to the front.

Inside are two leaves of white felt to hold needles and there is a button and loop fastening.

Gently padded with fusible fleece wadding. Measures approx 9cm x 13cm when closed.

Designed by Amanda Barwick in Derbyshire's Amber Valley
