Full description
The owl & the pussycat went to sea in a beautiful pea-green boat... ...And there in a wood a Piggy-wig stood with a ring at the end of his nose.
Inspired by the Edward Lear poem, this painting illustrates the part of the poem where the owl & the pussycat visit the pig in the woods to ask him for his ring. The owl sits in a yellow fruit laden tree holding a shilling in his beak. The cat is below asking the pig for his nose-ring.
- Original acrylic painting on cradled wood.
- 150mm x 150mm and 35mm thick (6 x 6 x 1.6 inches approx.)
- Sides have been painted black.
- Coated with Matte Anti-UV varnish for protection.
- Ready to hang (fitted with 2 sawtooth hangers - see pic).
- Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Please note: This painting will need to be hung on 2 screws/nails. This allows the painting to be hung straight and helps prevent movement if knocked.
