I love unique, one of a kind, and rare things. It makes them extra special to own knowing that there aren't all that many of them around. As a result, a lot of the items in my store are limited in quantity. Things like keyrings, badges and magnets, are assembled individually by hand and so I only make small amounts at a time. No more than 5 or 6. Once sold, some will be restocked in limited quantities, others won't. Don't miss out!

I've always loved drawing, painting, and making things, and I've always loved animals. When I was growing up, I'd regularly sit with my favourite animal books, drawing my favourite animals with my coloured pencils. I still have a lot of those drawings tucked away safe!
After school I went on to study natural history illustration at Sunderland University. Getting to paint animals and birds every day was a dream come true! Shortly after that my artwork caught the attention of a small newly established design studio local to my home in Jarrow. I became a soft furnishing and wall covering designer for them creating designs for the American market featuring animals, nature, flowers, and seascapes.
In 2010 I decided to set up on my own away from the confines of weekly briefs and deadlines. These days I paint small format art and have most recently branched out in to making a variety of handmade goodies. My main muse (and my favourite painting subject) is cats but you'll always find my other loves creeping in to my work. These include cacti, birds, kawaii and food!
My early work is very reminiscent of the illustrations found in wildlife observation books and from time to time I still paint or design in that way. Most of the time though, I use a more whimsical 'quirky' style!
Although the majority of my artwork is available online, I regularly paint small collections of 6-10 paintings (usually cats) for Whitby Galleries based in Whitby, here in the UK.
